Hospice is a patient-centered, family-oriented approach to care for anyone with a life-limiting illness. The core belief of hospice is that each of us has the right to die pain-free and with dignity. Our focus is on caring, not curing.
It can be difficult to talk about hospice and end-of-life issues. Our staff is here to make a difference. To relieve suffering, restore dignity, and comfort people with a life-limiting illness. Our mission is to promote quality of life . . . at every stage of life.
Hospice Care services are provided by a team of professionals and trained volunteers, available seven days a week. Services offered for patients and family members include:
People living in Barron, Rusk, Washburn, Dunn, Sawyer, Burnett and Polk counties are eligible for LMC’s Hospice Care.
