Health and Dental Insurance
All regular full-time and part-time employees are eligible
for coverage in LMC's health and dental insurance packages.
You may choose from single or family plan options.
Paid Time Off -- PTO Program
To help balance work and family life, we offer a system to
accrue and bank hours to be used as time off with pay. It
combines traditional holiday and short-duration sick time
into a single paid account, which can be used for planned
days off and short illnesses. It offers employees more flexibility
in scheduling time off. Employees accrue PTO from their first
hour worked.
Flexible Benefit Plan
Employees participating in the plan have the opportunity to
pay health and dental insurance premiums, day care expenses,
and certain out-of-pocket health care expenses on a pre-tax
basis. Lakeview Medical Center pays 100 percent of the operating
cost for this plan.
Retirement Plan
All employees are eligible to participate in the Tax Sheltered
Annuity Plan (403b) beginning on the date of their hire. LMC
will match employee investments after one year.
Personal Health Programs
Lakeview Medical Center sponsors a variety of ongoing wellness
programs for employees. Use of fitness equipment at minimal
cost and health and diet related programs
are available to employees and family members. Employee fitness
is a vital issue and we do our best to support our employee's
quest to lead more fit and healthy lives.
Complete Orientation and Mentor
Program
It is important that all employees are given the time they
need to orient themselves to their departments and to the
hospital. Each department has an orientation and mentor program
to fit all learning curves. Whether you are experienced or
just out of school, LMC strives to give you the tools to be
successful.
Preceptor Program
All new employees at LMC are partnered with a preceptor to
teach them the hospital's policies and procedures.
Flexible Schedule
Whether you need more hours or to cut back, we strive to be
as flexible as possible. We work with employees regarding
shifts and full-time, part-time and as-needed hours.
Employee Assistance Services
LMC recognizes that many factors may affect on-the-job performance,
e.g., family relationships, associations with friends, economics,
etc. Employee Assistance Services give employees an outlet,
when needed, to deal with personal problems, chemical dependency,
and other medical or behavioral problems. |
