Fall Prevention Program

free program to help you
or a loved one prevent slips and falls.

If you answered "Yes" to any of
the questions, Lakeview Medical Center's Fall Prevention Program
can help you! The program is individualized to your needs. You
will meet individually with a Registered Nurse to help you with
the following:

Medication use, side effects,
tracking of medications with the use of a pill-box

Increase strength and balance
with physical therapy and exercise programs

Home safety education

Resource assistance

NEW Breath Well, Live Well program from the American Lung
Association and Lakeview Medical Center! A certified asthma
educator will teach you how you can take back your life when you
take control of your asthma. This interactive adult group is a
fun, effective way to learn how to better manage your asthma.

Baby & Me
As a new mom it's important to eat healthy foods, exercise, and take care of yourself. You'll also learn basic baby care.
The class is free and designed for mothers with infants age 2 weeks to 8 months. Dads are welcome, too. Call 715-236-6408 for more information.

Information Group
Diabetes Information Group will
now meet in Lakeview Medical Center's Home Health Care/Hospice
Conference Room located in Towne Centre (formerly Marketplace).
The meetings will typically occur the fourth Thursday of the

Stroke Support Group
The Northwoods
Area Stroke Support Group meets the last Thursday of every other
month (Jan., March, May, July, Sept. and Nov.) at Lakeview
Medical Center in the Medical Arts/Health Resource building at
3:00 p.m.
