Hospice Care
Lakeview Medical Center's Hospice Care is a special level of care for people with terminal illnesses and their loved ones. The end of life should be met with care and dignity, with each person's individual wishes and needs guiding the care they receive. Hospice care treats the patient's physical needs, as well as emotional, social, and spiritual needs, at a time when the focus is care and comfort -- not a cure. Hospice Care also provides families respite care, emotional support and bereavement support.
Hospice Care is committed to helping make the final days, weeks and months for patients and their families as comfortable and satisfying as possible.
