LMC's physical, occupational and speech rehabilitation therapists use a personalized team approach to meet a wide variety of patient needs. Our treatment goal is to restore function and prevent further recurrence of problems so you can enjoy life to its fullest.

Physical Therapy
Physical therapists are specially trained to improve function and movement and to relieve pain. Through evaluation and individualized treatment programs, including patient education, specialized forms of exercise and other hands-on techniques, existing problems can be treated and preventive health care provided.

Occupational Therapy
An occupational therapist focuses on helping people perform the tasks of daily living. Our goal is to help each patient be as independent as possible throughout each day. An occupational therapist will use creative techniques to help individual's reach their maximum level of independent functioning in all aspects of life: at home, work, school or in the community

Speech and Language Pathology
Speech and language problems can result from illness, accident, hearing loss, birth defects and developmental delays. Our speech pathologists, also called speech therapists, work with people of all ages who have communication problems that affect their ability to speak, hear, write, read or understand. A speech therapist also works with people who have swallowing or eating difficulties. We see patients in all treatment settings including other area facilities.

Outpatient Hours
Generally 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday

We emphasize patient and family education with all of our treatment programs. We provide services in the hospital, on an outpatient basis or in your home. In addition, we work with employers to identify safety services for their workers including back injury prevention programs, functional capacity assessment, work conditioning and on-site job assessments.

Patients interested in treatment from LMC's Rehab Services should consult with their health insurance plan. Most insurance plans require a doctor's referral.
