Pain Clinic
Lakeview Medical Center's Pain Clinic was established in 1994 and currently serves over 2000 patients per year. The Pain Clinic has teamed with The Pain Clinic of Northwestern Wisconsin to provide patients the widest variety of pain treatment options in the region. Doctors at the Pain Clinic are board certified in pain management.
Pain is a complex problem and our pain specialists take a thorough approach in developing patient treatment plans. When conventional methods of pain management do not provide relief, our pain specialists may have options that will work for you.
Types of Pain
Acute Pain is caused by an injury or health problem that can lead to tissue damage. Acute pain can be treated successfully with a combination of medications and patient education.
Chronic Pain is felt regularly and lasts over a long period of time. Chronic pain often requires a more complex treatment plan including patient education, medication, physical therapy, and injection procedures.
The goal of pain treatment is to help you gain control of your pain and manage it in order to limit disability and distress.
