Webcam is located in the corner of the Marshfield Clinic Healing Garden, facing east.

“We thought it important to keep community members engaged in the process from start to finish,” said Ned Wolf, CEO, Lakeview Medical Center. “We provided this web cam to help make community members feel connected to this process and their future hospital.”

Later this spring, LMC will hold a groundbreaking ceremony, marking the official construction of the building, which is located adjacent to the Marshfield Clinic - Rice Lake Center at 1700 West Stout Street, Rice Lake.

When completed in late 2010, Lakeview Medical Center (LMC) will be a three-story 140,000 square foot hospital offering the same services as the current hospital including:  

  • Medical & surgical care
  • Intensive care
  • Obstetrical services
  • A 24-hour emergency department & Urgent Care
  • Diagnostic & ancillary services
  • Regional Center for Joint Replacement
  • Sleep Center

 

The facility will be a replacement of the current Lakeview Medical Center and will initially open with 40 beds, with room for expansion if needed. The new hospital has been designed to provide:
  • adequate space for modern technology
  • an environment that promotes healing, privacy comfort for patients & their families
  • a more efficient design for nurses and other staff
  • an energy-efficient, more environmentally friendly hospital
